About Jack & Berd

Roberto and Jackie were strangers when they each moved out to Los Angeles – from Connecticut and Wisconsin, respectively – in early 2014. In 2015, they found themselves working at the same company, chatting around the water cooler about market research and outer space, developing a casual friendship.

In 2018 Roberto proposed on a hammock on a warm California evening under the stars, and they married in New Haven in 2019. They moved across the country to Connecticut with their dog, Reina, and welcomed their son Oliver in 2022.

They started this blog and then totally neglected it.

Jack

Hailing from Wisconsin, Jackie’s an excitable Creative Director. She likes photography, hiking, reading, video games, cats, fireworks, tacos, and apologizing. Ope!

Berd

Roberto is a Connecticut native and former stand-up comedian turned Director of Operations and hobby baker. He spends his free time consuming media, running a comedy show, baking bread, and making spreadsheets for fun.
